
ABOUT
Bristol Credit Union (or BCU) is a not-for-profit co-operative financial institution, aiming to help local people save and borrow at fair rates while keeping money local, giving the city’s economy a boost.
PROBLEM
Customers did not fully understand what products and services the credit union offers and how they could access them.
The membership sign up and loan application process was not fully online and what was available was a disjointed and confusing experience.
The website offered no way of tracking customer activity or connecting the loan application process.
SOLUTION

Creating a more customer centric website, highlighting finance offerings for its existing and new members. This included building a more sales orientated web presence, re-developing its existing online lending and membership offering and streamlining processes through a new CRM and integrated member area.

I worked to enhance the website to integrate with the new branding and provide a means for regional micro-sites, creating a style guide that would allow a team of developers create member, loan, savings and banking online applications and also the enhanced online member area. The intention was to create a seamless experience, enabling the user to access the information they need.
